Peninsula Chapter Awards Scholarships
Since the founding of Peninsula Chapter in 1982, the members have dedicated a significant portion of the proceeds from their fundraising events to help others advance through education. From a modest scholarship of $350.00 in the first year to much larger amounts in later years, we are pleased to have awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to very deserving students during the last eight years.
Whether they be recent high school graduates, single parents with few financial resources, or students going to nontraditional schools, they have been worthy of our efforts. We have held fundraising events such as fashion shows, mystery plays, holiday baskets, gift certificate raffles, wine tasting, and Author's Day.
